Credential Evaluation for Centralized Application Services

WES is an approved provider of credential evaluations for your institution’s centralized application service (CAS).

To apply to SOPHAS, follow these steps.

What you need to do:
  1. Follow the steps below before starting your application.
    1. Complete the SOPHAS application and get a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#.
    2. Select U.S. for your evaluation. Note: University of Alberta applicants must select U.S.
    3. Add SOPHAS as the recipient and enter your CAS ID#
    4. Select the WES ICAP Course-by-Course evaluation type (required by SOPHAS).
  2. Follow the country-specific document requirements and arrange for your documents to be delivered to WES.
What WES will do for you:
  1. Verify your academic records.
  2. Prepare an official credential evaluation.
  3. Deliver your evaluation report and verified copies of your transcripts directly to SOPHAS.

If you applied to WES without your CAS ID#:

Send an email to [email protected]. Include your name, WES reference number, date of birth, country of education, and CAS ID# so we can update your file.

If you already have a WES evaluation report and are now applying to SOPHAS:

Order a duplicate report. Select SOPHAS as the recipient of your evaluation and enter your CAS ID#.
