Important Information

Before you review the list of documents to send to WES, please read this important information about specific requirements that may apply to you depending on the credentials you hold and the country or institution where you studied. This information will ensure that you send the right documents, which may help to expedite your evaluation.

Do not send original documents. WES does not require any original documents to process a credential evaluation report. Documents that you submit for evaluation will not be returned and will be destroyed by WES at its sole discretion.

Your Requirements Checklist

Please review this list of required documents and how to send them. (Note to applicants: The checklist of required documents is based on the initial information you submit as part of your WES application. If the information is incorrect, we may need to request additional documents.)

1. Academic Transcript

This is an official document issued in English by the institution you attended that lists all subjects taken and grades earned for each year of study.

What you need to do:

Option 1

Please visit Waseda University's website and request to send your documents electronically to [email protected]. Documents must be sent via the institution's digital portal. Please include your 7-digit WES reference number with your request. WES has an established relationship with Waseda University and has provided the university officials with instructions.

NOTE: If you graduated from your undergraduate school in or before September 1985; withdrew from your undergraduate school before March 1985; enrolled, graduated, or withdrew from graduate school in or before September 1993; or have received your doctoral degree in or before the 2005 academic year, please follow the directions detailed in Option 2/Option 3.

Option 2

If your institution is unable to send documents electronically, please ask them to send your document directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution.

Option 3

If the institution gives you the document to send to WES, it must be in a sealed envelope. If the envelope is opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, WES cannot accept the document.
